Public Comment Information

​​The Accountability and Implementation​ Board will receive oral public comment at each of its regular monthly meetings. In order to allow the Board sufficient time for its other business, the total time allotted to public comment will generally be limited to fifteen (15) minutes. Individuals seeking to speak to the Board will be given two (2) minutes each, at the di​scretion of the Board chair. Persons desiring to speak to the Board, must email aib@mary​lan​d.gov no later than 5 p.m. on the day before a meeting to request to speak. The request ​must include the speaker’s name, contact information, organization (if any), and topic(s) of comments. Speakers will be chosen for each meeting to ensure a diversity of viewpoints and topics are represented. Speakers will be notified if they are selected to provide public comment. In order to make the limited time available most effective, speakers are urged to provide written comments or other material amplifying their views. Written comments may also be submitted at any time by emailing aib@maryland.gov and they will be shared with the Board.
