ANNOUNCEMENT (3/11/2024): The AIB is pleased to announce Phase II of the Technical Assistance Grant Program. The AIB is seeking Strategic Partners who will work with local education agencies (LEAs) to advance implementation of the Blueprint for Maryland’s Future.
The areas of expertise we are seeking include:
- Resource Allocation and Strategic Budgeting
- Career Ladder for Educators
- College and Career Readiness Pathways
- Prekindergarten Expansion in a Mixed Delivery System
Please Note: Resource Allocation and Strategic Budgeting will receive priority consideration for grant funding. Interested persons/entities may review the
Application Instructions and submit the
Strategic Partner Application form by 12 noon EDT on April 8, 2024.
The LEAs/CTE Committee interested in participating in the Phase II Technical Assistance Grant Program must complete the
Application to Participate Form by 12 noon EDT on May 15, 2024. LEAs that partner with their county government in an application for Resource Allocation and Strategic Budgeting will receive the highest priority for grant funding.
The LEAs must also email the
Signature Page to
aib@maryland.gov by 12 noon EDT on May 15, 2024.

ANNOUNCEMENT (3/8/2024): The AIB is pleased to announce Phase II of the Technical Assistance Grant Program and are seeking Strategic Partners, who will act as thought partners in assisting local education agencies to advance the implementation of the Blueprint for Maryland’s Future.
The areas of expertise we are seeking include:

- Prekindergarten Expansion in a Mixed Delivery System
Please Note: Resource Allocation and Strategic Budgeting will receive priority consideration for grant funding. Interested persons/businesses shall review the Application Instructions and submit Strategic Partner Application form by 12 noon EDT on April 1, 2024.
ANNOUCEMENT (10/18/23): 48 Strategic Facilitators were approved to be eligible to participate in the TA grant program. The complete list of approved SFs is available here. 23 Intent to Participate forms were received from LEAs/CTE showing interest in the TA grant program. As of 10/17/23, pairing the SFs with LEAs/CTE Committee is now complete and the list is available here. The SFs and the LEAs worked together to develop the initial project plan by October 6. Final project plans are due November 15. The next steps are to develop and execute the legal agreements/MOUs, train the selected Strategic Facilitators, and kick off the work. Both LEAs and SFs are very energized by this opportunity.

ANNOUCMENT (8/16/23): Based on feedback shared at the two recent Grant Program Information Sessions, the timelines have been extended for applications/intent to participate forms.
